Hello, I am Cynthia Burton-King founder of JustMoJazz Designs, named after my children Justin (Just), Malik (Mo) and Jasmine (Jazz). At JustMoJazz designs we are not just interior decorators we are interior designers. We have taken our creative passions and skills and have transformed them into a marketable trade. We have access to distributors and merchants with high-end products that we can get for you at an affordable cost. We also do just about 75-100% of the work removing steep contractor rates and partner with specific construction and utility service providers so that we can offer our clients affordable service as needed, making us a full service shop. From the inception of your dream to the final touches, we meticulously curate every detail to reflect your unique personality and the epitome of luxury. Our designs are carefully thought out and executed to create a home that resonates with your individual taste and style, elevating the essence of luxury living. started to bloom, inevitably driving my passion for decorating and interior design to kick start at a very young age designing for countless families in the New York area. I moved to Texas over 20 years ago and had to step back from what I loved most, design. I had to become a full time Mom and Dad to my kids, which left no room for me to pursue what brought me joy. After some years past I met my husband and together we started designing, building and renovating, allowing my childhood passion to again transition back into my adult life, this time with my husband.
We relaunched the business here in Texas, because we found contractor rates to be astronomical in order to get work done, costing more than the actual materials. We don’t impose cost like that to people trying to achieve their dreams. We use budget friendly hacks and source mostly all of the work internally allowing our clients to afford their dream look, without stretching the limits of their bank account, we focus on the clients need to help transform their space into their dream design at a fraction of the average cost.
When creating a room it's about the mood and experience that I am trying to create, enabling people to move around a space that works for them so they can relax in their home. How people use a space may vary and we need to understand how and when they engage with particular areas of their home to create the right atmosphere. Most importantly a space needs to be desirable and practical. Understanding the ambience you want to create ensures that the changes focus on the right things in order to achieve the desired outcome.
